As such, culture as an art and discipline has developed in Nigeria spanning a host of fields and endeavours whilst serving as a major support system to dependent industries. It is essential that Art & Culture should be further propelled to generate awareness and promote socio – economic growth opportunities.
Operating under the theme: SOWING CULTURE, REAPING VALUES. MY HERITAGE, MY PRIDE is an amalgam of cultural events comprising; THE CULTURAL PAGEANT (SISI-OGE 2017), SISIOGE CELEBRITY CHARITY MATCH, AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING FESTIVAL, EXHIBITION AND AWARDS.
SISIOGE CELEBRITY CHARITY MATCH: A team of female celebrities from the creative industry will engage Sisioge pageant contestants in a charity football match to raise funds to promote cultural programmes.

AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING FESTIVAL: Traditional hair braiding activities and showcase involving over 250 maidens and hairdressers,aimed at promoting African traditional hair styling techniques and beauty.

THE CULTURAL PAGEANT (SISI-OGE 2017): A search for a cultural-business savvy ambassador with the skills and panache for selling and promoting the African heritage brand. This is a competitive event that engages active young women through a screening and camping exercise, selecting an eventual winner that befits the crown. The aim is to improve our international value through an embodiment of culture, intelligence and elegance.
EXHIBITION: Poised to promote locally-made products and influence sales with a primary agenda to showcase the richness of African-sourced products and the burning sense of entrepreneurship within the continent.
AWARDS: This rewards supportive iconic figures and enterprising individuals thriving on culture thathave exceptionally contributed to promoting the African heritage.
